I’m Alvi Hossain Himaloy — a Full-stack Developer and AI & Data Analytics Researcher. I build fast, accessible web products and use data + ML to make them smarter, more helpful, and a little more delightful every week.

Who I am

I’ve always been the person who asks, “why is this slow?” and then opens an editor. That habit led me through a BCS (AI) at Swinburne University of Technology and into a Master of Research (Data Analytics) at MIT Melbourne. Along the way, I’ve shipped production features, built internal tools that saved teams hours per week, and explored how ML can improve real products — from ranking and recommendations to clean, human-friendly dashboards.

What I do

  • Build web apps end-to-end: modern front-end UX, robust APIs, databases, auth, CI/CD, and cloud deploys.
  • Make data useful: analytics pipelines, event tracking, dashboards, experimentation, and measurable KPIs.
  • Add intelligent features: search, recommendations, NLP/classification, LLM-assisted flows.
  • Harden the product: performance, accessibility, reliability, and simple docs your team will actually read.

How I work

  • Outcome-first: start from the user journey, define “done”, instrument, then ship.
  • Small bets: MVP fast, learn fast. If it works, scale it; if not, prune it.
  • Craft + clarity: clean code, thoughtful UX, accessibility by default, and clear communication.

Toolbox I reach for

TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind, Node/Nest, Python (pandas, scikit-learn), REST/GraphQL, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Docker, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and cloud (Vercel/Netlify/Render/AWS). For ML/analytics: tidy datasets, notebooks, careful evaluation, and pragmatic MLOps.
